We coach with intention, emphasizing effort, focus, leadership, and teamwork. Founded in 2019, the Next Level Spartans is a volunteer-led organization supported by committed coaches with experience in youth, high school, and collegiate athletics.
As members of the Big South Youth Football League (BSYFL), we provide a competitive program for student-athletes ages 5–12 across Steele Creek and greater South Charlotte. We compete with teams across Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, and Mecklenburg counties.
Our growing cheerleading program focuses on building team pride, spirit, and leadership while bringing energy to the stands and sidelines.

Our cheer program creates a fun and supportive space where student-athletes can learn, build confidence, and shine. From first-time to experienced cheerleaders, everyone is encouraged to bring big energy, strong team pride, and their brightest smiles to the sidelines.

Each October, the Next Level Spartans wear pink and host a team service project to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s our way of standing with fellow Spartans and families in our community who have been affected by breast cancer.
